Reinforcing steel in bars to BSt 500 S
Reinforcing steel in bars to BSt 500 S is manufactured according to DIN 488 (acc. to German standard) and it is a highly ductile reinforcing steel to BSt 500 S (B) according to DIN 1045-1 (acc. to German standard), table 11. The material is hot-rolled and heat-treated from the roller heat or hot-rolled and cold-formed by stretching. Reinforcing steel in bars to BSt 500 S is fully weldable (C 0.22%). Bar lengths: 12 m, 14 m and 15 m – other lengths on request (6 m to 21 m) The bar's longitudinal tolerance: ± 100 mm The delivery of reinforcing steel in bars to BSt 500 S takes place in bundles with weights of 2,500 kg ± 100 kg, which are bound several times with steel bands. Because of that, the bundles can be stacked well and transported by means of crane magnets, suspension chains or textile sling bands.
